I didn’t have any particular desire to work in the law when I was younger. I wasn’t enjoying college and was given an ultimatum by my mum; either get my head down at college or get a job! I got a job and it just happened to be as an Office Junior at Rowlands Solicitors in Droyslden where I spent 5 years as Office Junior and then Legal Secretary.
I then spent almost 10 years at national firm, Simpson Millar LLP and progressed from Legal Secretary to Assistant Practice Manager.
I then joined a specialist motoring law firm in Manchester as Practice Manager and was instrumental in the firm achieving Lexcel Accreditation for the first time.
In June 2014, I came to Harold Stock & Co Solicitors as part of the firm’s continued growth strategy and to relieve the Directors of some of the administrative burden of running a firm. I have a particular interest in compliance and client care,
I live locally in Millbrook with my husband and daughter. I am a Trustee of The Anthony Seddon Fund, a Tameside-based mental health charity.
