James has been our legal representative in connection
with a proposed agreement for Lease and Lease of a new development,
containing new surgery premises and also in relation to a tripartite agreement
concerning a land split. In the time I have known him I have found him to be an extremely approachable
person, who always makes himself available and therefore any concerns are

Miss B: Hit and Run Incident.
Miss B of Oldham was involved in a hit and run accident. The injuries were to the knee and would cause problems for her chosen future career. The claim was pursued by Darren McGuinness against the Motor Insurance Bureau and after an initial offer was rejected the matter went on appeal and she recovered in excess of £130k. She commented in an email
Unfair Dismissal Testimonial.
James O’Donnell successfully recovered £30k in damages for me in a claim for constructive unfair dismissal from my employer. This all occurred without the need to issue proceedings and within two weeks of me first attending with him with an offer from my employer that they would pay me just £3k. Mr O’Donnell guided me through the process and the negotiations and given the horrendous way in which I was treated I believe obtained the very best result possible. A No-nonsense and sensible approach achieved an excellent result. I would highly recommend James to any client with an employment problem.
Mrs E: Road Traffic Accident.
Mrs E, 83 years of age, was crossing a main road in Ashton under Lyne when she was struck by a vehicle and knocked to the ground. As a result of this Road Traffic Accident Mrs E sustained injuries to her neck and right shoulder. We arranged for Mrs E to see a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who was ascertained that whilst Mrs E would recover from the majority of her injuries, she would continue to suffer some restriction of movement within her shoulder.
Mrs E was awarded the sum of £7,500 and sent a note of appreciation recognising the hard work put into her case and stating ‘I can’t express my thanks to you enough, you’re the best’.
