Harold Stock & Co Solicitors are proud to announce our sponsorship of the inaugural Mossley AFC 10K race on Sunday 27th July 2014, starting at 10am.
Our slogan ‘for wherever your journey takes you’ could this time refer to the six miles of stunning countryside taken in by the run which starts and finishes at Mossley AFC’s Seel Park ground.
The race sponsorship forms part of Harold Stock & Co Solicitors’ programme of support for local sport, education and youth initiatives, and provides an exciting opportunity for Mossley AFC to be the setting for a wider community celebration. A great party atmosphere with grandstand views for spectators will also offer a chance to see the picturesque old ground in all its summer glory – a somewhat different setting than on a cold Saturday afternoon in winter!
The race will follow an undulating and scenic route, taking in Upper Mossley, Lower Mossley and Greenfield and includes beautiful views of the countryside around Mossley and Saddleworth. The distance is ideal for all abilities, whether experienced club runners, social runners or those looking for a first ‘proper’ race. It also provides the perfect opportunity to raise money for charity.
