On 22 May 2015, Harold Stock & Co showed their commitment to best serving and assisting those living with dementia by taking part in a Dementia Training Workshop run by Home Instead.
Home Instead, who offer care for people who wish to remain living independently in their own home, ran a free workshop to educate those caring for people with dementia and others working with people who live with dementia.
Rebecca O’Donnell, who attended the workshop on behalf of Harold Stock & Co commented ‘The course was very well presented and perfectly pitched. The speakers were approachable and offered helpful, practical advice and reassurance to those who are caring for or working with people suffering from dementia. It was very clear that Home Instead has a wealth of knowledge and experience in caring for people with dementia and they were happy to share their tried and tested techniques and experience to assist others’.
Harold Stock & Co Solicitors and Home Instead are now working together to provide all Harold Stock & Co staff with dementia training. The firm is striving to become a ‘Dementia Friendly Firm’ and Home Instead’s invaluable training and expertise in this area will assist the firm in achieving this goal.
