Miss B of Oldham was involved in a hit and run accident. The injuries were to the knee and would cause problems for her chosen future career. The claim was pursued by Darren McGuinness against the Motor Insurance Bureau and after an initial offer was rejected the matter went on appeal and she recovered in excess of £130k.
